The Little Falls Public Library Board of Trustees meets the second Thursday of each month, except July and August. Meetings are held in the library at 8 Warren St., Little Falls at 7:30 p.m.
Totowa’s Dwight D. Eisenhower Library offers story time for three-year-olds on Mondays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and for four-year-olds on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Call 973-790-3265.

The Friends Room of the main library at 461 Valley Rd. sells used books. Browse often, as the selection is constantly changing. The room is open during regular library hours. The Friends of the Wayne Public Library accept donations of new and gently used books. Both hardback and paperback titles are accepted for adults and children. The Friends cannot accept donations of text books, encyclopedias, or condensed books. Persons wishing to donate books may drop the books off at the garage entrance of the Main Library Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, April, May, June, September and October. The Preakness Branch offers Story Time on Thursdays at 10:30, and 11:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m. The sessions consist of stories, songs, poems and crafts. Children must be at least two years old to attend and a caregiver must be present. The Preakness Branch Library is located on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne. Call 973-694-7110.
