The Packanack Cooperative Nursery School has a program for 5-year olds who are not ready for kindergarten. The K-Prep program combines learning, socialization and creative activities in a structured atmosphere. While preschool classes introduce children to basics such as the alphabet, numbers and colors, the K-Prep class reviews these skills to strengthen them. A cooperative school is able to keep costs down with the active, "hands on" support of parents. Several times a year, parents assist teachers and students. For more information, call 973-696-1260.
