Pascrell launches new Web site

Congressman Bill Pascrell (D-NJ) is using the Internet as a means of further reaching out to his constituents.
By launching a newly revamped Web site Pascrell can now speak to voters in ways that in the past were unattainable. User experience and accessibility will now be enhanced taking web surfers on the site into the realm of video technology.
By logging onto www.pascrell.house.gov visitors will see a slew of new features including a video library of the Congressman’s speeches from the House of Representatives, along with his monthly TV broadcast called, "To The Point."
Anyone looking to research Pascrell’s work in Washington can easily do so now via a comprehensive database. Legislation that he has written, supports, and a complete voting record can be found sought as well as his views on such issues as the economy and the War in Iraq.
One of the more important options about the web site is the ability to view the material in larger text, something Caley Gray, spokesman for Pascrell, says is another way to increase convenience.
Applying for internships with Pascrell, or reserving tours in Washington, D.C. can also be done using web-based forms. If you would like to have a flag flown over the Capitol building in D.C. there is also a form for that.
Other helpful categories people can search on it include Id theft.
"The new features on my redesigned web site will allow for a much improved user experience that will help me to better serve the citizens of the eighth district," Pascrell said.
He added, "It also provides a deeper more transparent look at my record by documenting the work I do in Washington on a day to day basis. I encourage everyone to visit the site and see for yourself."
